Yesterday, November 25th at 1130hs, m.v. NEA TYHI suffered a black out and collided with Vitco berth at Zarate port, on Km 112 of Parana Las Palmas river. She recovered and dropped anchors at km 120 to wait for local Coast Guard inspection. Berth sustained heavy damage and vessel's hull was pierced above water level.
Vessel was sailing downriver from ADM berth (San Lorenzo port) loaded with 50k mt of SBS bound to Bahia Blanca port for top off cargo. Draft: 10.46 mts. Agents: NABSA SA.
