Fire at Vicentin biofuel plant in San Lorenzo port

Date: 30/07/2018

Around 1130hs today after an explosion took place, all personnel of Vicentin biofuel plant in the port of San Lorenzo was evacuated. Firemen are now at work controlling the fire.
Apparently it was originated in a Fuel Oil tank within the plant. Luckily there are no injuries reported, only material damage so far.
