Please kindly note that we've just informed by San Nicolas port / New Port berth authorities, as well as by Coast Guard, that last Friday (July 07th), the New Port administration performed a bathimetry in the New Port access channel and found out that the entering draft to New Port is 6,90 mts + River height - 0,60 cm (Security margin UTK).
I.E., considering Parana river dropping level, the maximum draft for today is only 8,30 mts (and subject to Parana River water level variations)
Presently, there are 2 vessels at roads which are not able to enter: m.v. BEN NEVIS (Draft 10,30 mts) and m.v. BUNUN CHAMPION (Draft 9,50 mts)
It is remarcable that this measurement is NOT OFFICIAL but the Port Pilots already take it as valid.
We'll follow and monitor the situation and keep you closely posted.
