Good afternoon.
On October 26th, the Puerto San Martin Port Works Cooperative (CPGSM), which is the company that provides the stevedores services in San Lorenzo port, presented a letter, undersigned by its president Mr. Herme Juárez, to the National Government, informing their decision to adjust their actual tariffs they apply to the main Terminals, with discounts up to 30%, stating that, by this gesture,
they are supporting the National Government plan to lower the current ports cost.
In this particular case, the CPGSM informed that new tariffs as from November 01st, 2016 would be as follows:
Up to 20%: Monthly standard handwork stowage.
Up to 25%: Barges discharging and machining stowage.
Up to 30%: Discharging of Fertilizers.
IMPORTANT: Please note that we still don't know for sure how much will the tariffs of handtrimming / flattening / placement of separations be lowered.
We're presently trying to get the info and will revert with updates.
For your guidance, please note that the letter was dated on October 26th and sent to the Ministry of National Transport.
Keep you posted.
