New determinant at Km 288 of Parana River (after m.v. STAR ZETA refloating)

Please kindly note that, after the refloating of m.v. STAR ZETA, the Ports & Waterways Sub-Secretary (SSPYVN) has published the outcomes of new bathymetry performed on affected area. As per these results, and basis actual water level of Parana river, the depth is 10,77 mts, being the effective sailing draft 10,17 mts. For the moment, Coastguard has not authorized yet the resuming of navigation for vessels over 7 mts draft, but the restriction would be lifted anytime soon. Also, the SSPYVN and Coastguard have instructed the dredger AMERICO VESPUCCI to proceed with dredging tasks during all night as from Km 310 of Parana River to the incident spot (Km 288). We'll revert with news regarding the Coastguard's authorization for navigation of vessels over 7 mts draft. We'll keep you posted.
