SUSPENSION OF MANDATORY REQUIREMENT TO HAVE OSRO CERTIFICATE FOR VESSELS AND CONVOYS TRANSITING THE MAIN WATERWAY.

Date: 30/10/2024

Please note that by Disposition 27/24 published in the Official Bulletin on this date, the Undersecretariat of Ports and Waterways of the Nation removed the requirement to have an OSRO (Oil Spill Response Organization) COVERAGE CERTIFICATE for all vessels and/or convoys of barges of any type and cargo that shall transit the Main Waterway.

Consequently, the Authority repealed the previous Disposition 23/24 that established said requirement (CNAV Report No. 197/24).

This provision comes into effect as from today.
