SOMU Strike at Bahia Blanca & Necochea ports.

We have just been informed that sailors Union association (SOMU) have declared a sudden strike for tugs in Bahia Blanca and Necochea Ports as from today 5th Sept 1200hrs during undetermined period of time. On the other hand, Stevedores Union (SUPA) have adhere to the measure and therefore all grains loading/discharge ops are being affected in both Ports, with the consequent delay for vessels alongside & anchored.
This measure taken is in support of seaman fired out from the Svitzer Co.
