Please note that URGARA (Argentinian Union of Grain Receivers) leaders have announced a temporary suspension of the ongoing strike in most of Argentina's port terminals starting September 01st, at 06:00 hrs. A meeting between CADECRA (Argentinian Chamber of Surveying Companies) and URGARA will take place today at 1000 hrs to restart negotiations regarding salaries and benefits for union members.
However, if these negotiations fail to reach an agreement, the strike could resume for an indefinite period of time, until a more favorable offer is made to the union.
Therefore, all operations at Argentinian ports are going back to normal since today at 0600 hrs.
Will keep you posted of any developments.
