Grounded vessel obstructing navigation through Parana Bravo river

Date: 28/03/2016

Today at abt. 0920hs m.v. ELENI M went aground at km. 138 of Parana Bravo. Vessel operated at km 25 of Uruguay river and was downstreaming loaded with abt. 36.000 mt. sbs py at a max draft of 9.73 meters and with destination Russia. Coastguard is not authorizing navigation through Parana Bravo until further notice. Keep you updated.
