Pls note that Site 0 in Necochea port has been inaugurated and will start their loading operations with m.v. NAVIOS FELICITY (LOA 225 mts, Breadth 32.26, with ETA Necochea on March 16th). Vessel will load around 63000 Mt of Wheat to Vietnam by means of the new facilities available at the terminal. The berth will count with one x 35000 Mt capacity silo, 4 x 12000 Mt capacity silos, an inclined elevator conveyor belt, three concrete towers joined by two metallic bridges holding the conveyor belts connected to 1 loading pipe on each tower. Each loading pipe counts with loading arms, chutes and dust suppressor. The terminal will continue to grow in storage capacity. A new 45000 Mt capacity silo is under construction, expecting to reach 128000 Mt capacity by the end of 2016, with a total in vestment of around u$s 78M. The present loading capacity is around 1200 Mt x hour. the terminal operators advised that a second stage
investment will include, among other subjects, the installation of a second conveyor belt which is expected to double the loading capacity. Major infrastructure joint investments, such as the port dredging to 45', and a later investment to take the max sailing draft to 50', are being required by all terminals to the Necochea port administration.
