Blockades at Terminals' entrances from San Lorenzo port to Villa Constitucion port
Local Construction Workers Union (UOCRA) informed this afternoon that on May 12, they will establish blockades at Terminals' entrances along the agroindustrial line in Santa Fe province (from Timbues to Villa Constitución - North to South).
Their objective is to impede the trucks to enter to the terminals and discharge their load (Grain & By products), as well as Terminals' personnel incoming. In this manner the whole production will be stopped and vessel won't be able to load.
UOCRA informed this measure will be for an undetermined period of time. They explained they are not looking for wage increases nor "voluntary" contribution to their Union, but answers for Construction Partnership Company (Duro Felgueras Corp. and their associates General Electric and Fainse) due to the lost of 1300 jobs because of Thermoelectric Dam construction at Timbues was cancelled.
Despite it has nothing to do with their activity, UOCRA says "this is the only way their claim will be attended"
