Following our last related to the subject, please kindly note that on March 06th at 0140 hrs LT, m.t. SAN MATIAS was refloated with the assistance of three tugboats.

Please kindly note that on March 05th at 0040 hrs LT, m.t. SAN MATIAS ran aground at Bahia Blanca main channel, between Buoys 13 & 14 with a maximum draft of 16,60 mts.

Due the current dredging works being performed on Mitre Channel, all vessels proceeding from upriver Parana ports in laden condition will have to anchor in the nearby area of Escobar in order to wait the dredger IBN BATUTA stoppage and reopening of the navigation.
