Following our previous Newsletter informing the m.v. JOHANN OLDENDORFF's grounding, the Coastguard has updated the info and confirms that the vessel completely obstructs the main navigation channel.

Pls note that mv of reference went aground tdy, Aug 23rd 0240 hrs, at km 342 of Paraná River. She loaded at Arroyo Seco terminal, Rosario Port, abt 42000 tns Sbs with final destination Egypt. She sailed bound for Bahía Blanca to complete her cargo. Vsl sailing draft: 10,48 mts.

Pilot Service Boats' crew strike that started on August 05th 1200hs was halted on August 09th 1800hs by a mandatory conciliation for 15 days.
