River Plate Administrative Comission (CARP, in spanish) has announced that on September 15th, it has been signed the contract between the CARP and the BOSKALIS INTERNATIONAL URUGUAY S.A.

Please note that the pilots restriction to sail up to 10,36 Mts draft has been lifted.

Recommendation goes back to 10,51 Mts draft for vessels to sail from upriver ports (in order to minimize the chances of having to drop anchors to wait for extraordinary tides on the outbound passage).
