Argentina sells Soya Bean Oil to China back again after the suspension decided by the Asian nation three years ago to all deliveries from our country.
By this measure, the Popular Republic of China consolidates itself as the main market for Argentinian agro industrial products.
It should to be mentioned that China had suspended the purchases of oil from Argentina in October 2015 and continued acquiring these products from U.S.A. and Brazil.
The announcement was made by the Minister of Agroindusty, Mr. Luis Miguel Etchevere, who, thru his Twitter account, informed that today one vessel was loaded with 29.000 Mt- SBO at San Lorenzo port / COFCO Agri Timbues Terminal.
As per official comments, this is the first of two other vessels that will be loading at San Benito Terminal & COFCO Agri PGSM Terminal.
At this stage, they estimate about 90.000 Mt - SBO to be loaded for China.
The loaded vessel was the m.t. STENAWECO ELEGANCE, departed today from COFCO Agri Timbues to Paranagua (for topping off).
