Vicentín and Ultramar Group are behind a mega logistics park.

Both companies will carry out an ambitious project that is presented as a leap forward in cargo management and distribution in the region, and strongly bonded to the Multimodal port terminal.

The initiative will be promoted by Rio Arriba Logística,a company born from the Argentine & Chilean business groups combined efforts.. Although the company already had an experience in Palmira (Mendoza), with the creation of the first logistics loading center in the Cuyo region, the proposal in the metropolitan area of ​​Rosario will be totally different.

"We are talking about a unique project that implies, in logistic terms, to jump from the stone age to the latest technology", 
said Gustavo Nardelli, Vicentín's Logistics Director.

It is an investment that will be launched in 2019, with a 15 / 20 years development and a projected total disbursement of between U$S 250 M and 300 M.
"This is now possible because of the National Goverment policies, that allow us to make a long term serious plan, with consolidated infraestructures works. Before this, it was a "every man for himself"",
said Nardelli, who believes this is a key step for adding value to Argentine products.

Aiming to achieve logistics efficiency and a strong reduction of costs (a very big shortfall), the property will be located in Alvear town, on the Buenos Aires-Rosario highway, and will offer multiple options according to foreign trade operators, inner storage and national distribution.

It will be a 154 ha (about 381 acres) logistics center, linked with Rosario port Terminal by road and rail connections (on both trails).
"The rail network layout means that we will also have a connection with the rest of the country and, thanks to Open Access, we will be able to perform the trains operation by ourselves, from the very inside of the park",
said Nardelli.

The park space configuration foresees several storages of different kind: cold storages, vehicles platform, Customs spaces prepared for containers consolidadtion / deconsolidation service, electric supply for refeers, repairing areas for shipping companies.

It will also have tanks for liquid cargoe s, silos with segregation capability and state-of-the-art machinery.

As well as an Administrative Offices building (for companies) and Official SENASA and Customs branches.

As per info disclosed by Vicentín, the park will be commercialized as per following formats:

• Integral Logistic Services.
• Storages Rental (inside the property)
• Real estate availability for companies' own projects.
