Pls note that the Ministry of Human Capital, through the National Directorate of Labor Relations and Regulations, has issued a 15-day mandatory conciliation in the conflict between the Union of Grain Receivers and Annexes of the Argentine Republic (URGARA) and the Chamber of Private Commercial Ports (CPPC), which represents port terminals along the Industrial Belt.
The Mandatory conciliation follows the union’s announcement of a national strike scheduled to begin on Tuesday, November 11 at 0000hrs, which would have disrupted operations at ports and storage facilities.
Nonetheless, the strike remains in effect at several loading terminals, including Terminal 6 North Berth, Cargill VGG, and Pta. Alvear facilities, as well as at the ports of Necochea and Bahía Blanca.
We´ll keep you duly posted as the situation unfolds.
