m.v. MAGELLAN ETERNITY - Run aground at KM 389.5 of Parana River.-

Please note that on April 19th at 1645 hrs, m.v. MAGELLAN ETERNITY has run aground at Km 389.5 of Parana River during its downstream navigation bound to Bahia Blanca.
It was loaded at LDC General Lagos (Located at Km 396) with 38.540 mt of Sbm and Wheat at a draft of 9,84 Mts EK and currently is partially obstructing the channel.
There are two (02) ships affected: m.v. EVEREST (IMO 9652131) and m.v. LANYA-M (IMO 9158159), both proceeding from San Lorenzo, which had to drop anchors at General Lagos roads as per Coast Guard instructions.
