Date: 06/03/2017

Please kindly note that, on March 02nd there was an incident with one vessel's crane during her discharging operations (railroads tracks) at TPR Terminal, Rosario port.
A large glass was detached off from one of the crane's control cabin falling into the cargo hold where two stevedores were working in.

As a consequence, one of them (only 27 years old and nearly to be dad), was injured and passed away on March 05th at noon.
Therefore, the Argentinean Port Workers Union (SUPA) called the strike as from March 06th at 0001 hrs LT and for 24 hours.

This strike affects TPR, Cargill (both VGG & Punta Alvear) and Toepfer Arroyo Seco's Terminals, and no operations were performed during this day.

LDC General Lagos Terminal wasn't affected and operations are normal.

The strike would end on March 06th at 2359 hrs LT and all operations on remainin g terminals would back to normal.

We'll keep you posted.
