m.t. THERESA SUCCESS - Remains aground at Km 361 of Parana River

Pls note that m.t. THERESA SUCCESS remains aground at Km 361 of Parana River wince Jan 13th at 1530 hrs. The vessel is being assisted by Tug boats COOPOR ESTIBADOR I, COOPOR ESTIBADOR II and EMMA B without any success. m.t. BOW ARATU has been appointed by the salvage company in order to proceed alongside m.t. THERESA SUCCESS and lighter her cargo. The vessel is presently in Recalada awaiting aurhotization to proceed upriver. Her ETA to the grounding area could be Jan 21st pm.
It is probable that the Coast Guard could impose some restriction to navigation through the area while lightering operations are being carried out.
