Paraná River Incident off Rosario

Please note that this afternoon a barge allision incident took place on the Paraná River, off Rosario area, during maneuvering operations involving tanker vessel GINGA BOBCAT and assisting tug HB Perseus.
As per preliminary information received, one barge sustained severe structural damage after contact with the vessel’s bow.
At present, no official information has been released regarding injuries, pollution or navigation restrictions.
