Further to our earlier news about the subject matter, please note it is expected that New Terminal "Sitio 0 de Quequen S.A." will start working through the berth Nº1 Quequen side (Port side to alongside) on March 2016.
Berth Nº 1: Sitio 0 de Quequén S.A.: Grain elevator berth, consists of 3 dolphins fitted with floating Yokohama fenders, berthing front 227m with moorings ahead and astern to accommodate vessels of 230m LOA.
Depth alongside 43ft at datum.
Elevator storage capacity 128.000 tons (1st stage of construction).
Loading from store cells and silos trough an inclined conveyor belt bridge to the gallery
on the berth Nº 1, which is supported on the three concrete towers. These towers have multi
directional loading arms that are fitted with spout and a dust suppressor on it and these
have an outreach of 36m.
Air draft 19m at datum.
Maximum loading rate of grains 1200 tph per belt. Total 2400 tph loading by 2 pipes.
