May 05th 2015 Oil Workers Union Strike in Rosario port / Possibility of strike at San Lorenzo port

On May 04th at 1525 hrs LT, the Oil Workers Union have started a strike at Rosario port affecting the Terminals as follows:
- Cargill VGG Terminal: Affected. It is not working
- Cargil Pta. Alvear Terminal: Affected. It is not working
- LDC Gral. Lagos Terminal: Affected. It is not working
- Toepfer Terminal: Not affected. Operating normally.
- TPR Terminal: Not affected. Operating normally.
The strike is for an undetermined time period.
Work General Confederation (CGT) has summoned a meeting this afternoon around 1800 hours, in order to assess salary proposals offered by CIARA and CARBIO (Corporate Chambers) at the hearing they kept last Monday, and evaluate what the next steps will be, considering to take protest measures and call for a strike also.
