0535 m.v. ELENI M refloated from Km 138 of Parana Bravo River. Coast Guard has reopened navigation through the area without specifying any restrictions. No soundings have been carried out at the area.

Pls note that m.v. ELENI M remains aground at Km 138 of Parana Bravo river, blocking the deepest exit from Nueva Palmira port, being the only available path Martin Garcia Channel, which is still limited to 8,23 Mts for vessels up to Panamax size and 7,50 Mts for vessels over Panamax size. M.v.

Yesterday at 0920hs m.v. ELENI M went aground at km. 138 of Parana Bravo. Vessel is being assisted by tugboats PAMPERO and CANDELA S to afloat again with no success so far. Coast Guard still does not allow navigation through Parana Bravo. Keep you updated.
