April 22nd 2015 Terminal 6 barges discharging berth continues blocked / Low trucks affluence to the ports

San Lorenzo port, Terminal 6 berth is suffering a conflict with the stevedores operating their Barges discharging berth due to the death of one worker at the work site last week. Workers are claiming for safer working conditions.
This situation is especially affecting the arrival of Paraguayan cargo since it arrives by barges. There are no clear prospects for the solution of the conflict.
The quantity of trucks arriving at the ports (considering that the harvest season is in full force) is noticeably lower than previous seasons. We will monitor developments and revert with further info.
