Martin Garcia channel - Ending of dredging works

Please be informed that the dredging works of Martín García channel have finalized. On this basis said channel is opened for the navigation upstream/downstream 24/7. Please note enclosed the official announcement released by the C.A.R.U.("Comisión Administrativa del Río Uruguay" in spanish).
The channel was dredged until 10,36 meters but the local authorities are working to release the official batimetries figures.
Until reception of the official announcement from the authorities, the maximum draft to navigate through Martín Gracía channel remains in 9,75 meters.
On the other hand we also take the opportunity to inform you that, for the time being, the daylight navigation Nueva Palmira / Fray Bentos - Fray Bentos / Nueva Palmira remains without changes.
