Please be advised that, pursuant to Decree No. 527/2025, published in the Official Gazette on September 22, 2025, the Argentine Government has implemented a temporary reduction of export duties to 0% for grains and related by-products.
This benefit will remain in effect until October 31, 2025 (inclusive), or until the aggregate value of registered export sales reaches USD 7 billion, whichever occurs first.
According to the Decree, exporters are required to settle at least 90% of the foreign currency obtained from these exports within three (3) business days of registering the sale. Failure to comply will result in the reinstatement of the previous export tax rate, in addition to applicable penalties and suspension from this temporary benefit.
This measure is part of the government's ongoing efforts to reduce distortive taxes, boost competitiveness in the agricultural sector, and promote exports and regional development.
We will continue to keep you informed of any updates or changes to this policy.
