Sailing draft through Parana Bravo river (outbound from Nueva Palmira)

Date: 15/04/2016

Pls note that Pilots issued a correction to the max sailing drafts through Parana Bravo River. The new determinant is located at Km 145,4 of Parana Bravo River where measurements show 8,50 mts at datum (at zero level). Usual water height in that area is around 1 meter. Therefore the max sailing draft under normal circumstances would be:
8,50 (determinant) + 1,00 (water height) - 0.60 (compulsory underkeel clearance) = 8,90 Mts

What is a real fact now is that with above findings the 10,21 meters sailing draft from Nueva Palmira is no longer available, at least until the channel authority dredges the area.

Here is a link showing the are on google map
