Landing Organic Residues will become compulsory for all vessels calling ports in Buenos Aires province

Pls note that Resolution nº 648, issued by the Production, Science and Technology Ministry, establishes that the landing of garbage will be compulsory for all vessels calling ports located in Buenos Aires province (i.e., San Nicolás,
Ramallo, San Pedro, Lima, Zarate, Del Guazú, Km 171 transshipment area, Campana, La Plata, Necochea and Bahia Blanca). Landing garbage will be compulsory even for vessels that called other ports, or having landed garbage, in Argentina. The new resolution became in force on Dec 11th but has not been implemented yet. It is expected that it will be implemented soon.
